Editorial Policy
The Koreafy collects information on Korean visas, daily life, healthcare, and setup from official government sources and restructures it so foreign residents can understand it easily. Here is how we create and verify our content, and what its limits are.
How we build content (4 steps)
- Primary sources - We check official notices, statistics, and guides directly from Korea Immigration Service (HiKorea), the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the National Health Insurance Service, and government portals (gov.kr).
- Structuring - We turn complex procedures, fees, and requirements into comparison tables, checklists, and step-by-step guides.
- Cross-checking - Decisive details such as fees, eligibility, and deadlines are re-checked against primary sources before publishing.
- Updates - When policies, fees, or laws change, we revise the article and mark the update date.
Limits of this information (please read)
This site provides general guidance only and does not replace professional legal, financial, or medical judgment for your specific situation. For important decisions about visas, taxes, or healthcare, always consult the relevant authority or a qualified professional. Policies and fees change frequently, so please confirm the latest details with the official source before you apply.
Authorship and updates
